WEBINAR: NH's Minimum Standards Overhaul: Where Are We Now?

October 30th, 2024

On Tuesday, October 27, Reaching Higher presented the following webinar to the New Hampshire Education Network. The state's Minimum Standards for Public School Approval, which are the foundational requirements for all public schools to operate in New Hampshire, are being overhauled by the New Hampshire Department of Education.

The process, which has been nearly four years in the making, has resulted in a proposal that would significantly undermine and weaken public schools, and could impact how much the state is responsible for paying for public education. Where are we in the process? What do we know about the rules as they stand? What's next, and how will it impact our public schools and the students and families that they serve?
